The chart-topping pop star arrived at the London auditions this morning for her first appearance at the judges' table.
Wearing an all-white dress and jacket combo, the R.I.P singer showed off her pins as she met fans outside the O2 Arena in North Greenwich.
She teamed her outfit with gold jewellery, tartan wedge ankle boots and glitzy sunglasses with gold rose bud detail.
The 21-year-old Brit looked composed as she was snapped on the red carpet with her fellow judges despite admitting she was suffering from nerves.
She tweeted: "IM HERE...... I CANT BREATHE! X-FACTOR..... IM JUST LIKE YOU REMEMBER THAT. IVE JUST STARTED TOO IM HERE TO HELP!"
Hot Right Now star Rita has only had two big hits in the UK after shooting to stardom this year.
But fellow judge Tulisa Contostavlos, who also showed off some leg in a pretty green and white patterned mini-dress and gold-studded ankle boots, seemed delighted to have Rita on board.
She took to Twitter to write: "In my dressing room getting ready for todays auditions! Glad to have @RitaOra joining us today!! #xfactor."
Judge and Take That star Gary Barlow looked a little over-dressed in the baking heat of London today in a light blue blazer, T-shirt and casual trousers.
While Louis Walsh must have been sweltering too, wearing smart suit trousers, a jacket and a pink and white checked shirt.
Rita is the latest guest judge to join the ITV1 singing show after US singer Kelly Rowland revealed she wouldn't be returning for another series.
Geri Halliwell took the fourth slot at the table during the Liverpool auditions last week.
