LEE Mack is âterrifiedâ about compering the Queenâs Diamond Jubilee Concert.
The Not Going Out star fears heâll turn the air blue by inadvertently swearing in front of Her Majesty at the bash outside Buckingham Palace on Monday.
Lee told Radio 2: âComedians, including myself, Miranda Hart and Rob Brydon have foolishly agreed to link big names like Paul McCartney and Elton John by doing comedy.
âIâm genuinely terrified.
âWhy would you do that in front of the Queen? And itâs worldwide.
âI go through the list of reasons in my head and thereâs not one redeeming feature.â
He added: âItâs not usual to do gigs in front of the Royal Family.
âIâve done it â" Iâve done the Royal Variety Show â" but thereâs always that voice in the back of your head saying, âDonât swear, donât swear,â and that makes you want to swear.â
