So he’ll fancy his chances of dating Tulisa after she invited him to New York for a two-day bender.

He’s been chatting up the X Factor judge since working on her debut album earlier this year.

Now she’s single, following her split from ex-Skins star Jack O’Connell, he’ll be champing at the bit to fulfil his own dream.

A source said: “The Dream has always really liked Tulisa. Ever since they worked on her album he thinks they struck up a strong connection.

“He’s been keeping in regular contact by sending messages asking how she is.

“But he’s upped his game since Tulisa’s back on the market and feels it could be his time to strike. He’s very keen.”

Tulisa made the most of a four-day break from filming the new series of X Factor by heading out to the States. She spent the first two days of her trip, which was planned before her split from Jack, in The Dream’s home city of Atlanta.

She was snapped arriving in New York on Thursday accompanied by The Dream and got straight on the sauce.

But the producer, who has a child with ex-wife Christina Milan, isn’t the only star Tulisa met up with in the Big Apple.

She bumped into Rita Ora and tweeted a picture of them drinking cocktails in a bar alongside the caption: “Me and Rita Ora casually beefing in New York.”

They hit it off after Rita’s brief stint on X Factor earlier this month.

Tulisa blamed her split from Jack on work, saying the actor’s film commitments in Bulgaria for the next few months would make it hard to see each other.

The Dream â€" real name Terius Nash â€" will have location issues too if he starts a relationship with her during X Factor.

He could always stay at Gary Barlow’s house. There are 30 bedrooms to choose from.
