Ross Kemp: It’s War-ford on EastEnders

The Walford legend said he didn’t envy Letitia Dean’s soap comeback â€" because he found the filming too relentless.

Ross, who is currently fronting a second series of his Sky1 HD show Extreme World, had the role of Grant Mitchell from 1990 to 1999, returning briefly from 2005 to 2006.

Letitia played his wife Sharon and they ran the Queen Vic together. Speaking about her return, he said: “I’ve always liked Letitia, she’s a lovely girl. You know, don’t underestimate how hard the people work in EastEnders â€" and I say this as someone who has done nearly a year in Afghanistan.”

Asked if he’d consider returning, he refused to rule it out.

He said: “Well, I doubt it but never say never.”

Ross’s latest series of Extreme World sees him travel to Venezuela where murder and kidnapping are rife. He also investigates witch-hunt-related murders in Kenya and Tanzania.

Other stops on Ross’s journey include the south of France, and New Orleans.
