The 26-year-old, who revealed his condition this week, said he was âoffendedâ bosses decided he wasnât up to tasks on the reality contest without talking to him.
Speaking on US show The Talk, Jack said: âI had booked a job, right when I got diagnosed, and the company didnât think I could actually perform the job.
âOut of everything, thatâs what has really ticked me off the most because itâs like, âDonât tell me what I can and cannot doâ. At no point did they call me. It was all through agents and lawyers â" I was offended by it.â
Mum Sharon, 59 â" a co-host on The Talk â" added sarcastically: âIt was a really nice email.â
Jack did not name the programme â" but The Sun can reveal it was NBCâs Stars Earn Stripes, in which soldiers put celebs through real military exercises.

A show source admitted they didnât think Jack was up to the challenges â" but said it was hard to believe he was informed by email.
The series â" featuring Muhammad Aliâs daughter Laila and TV Superman star Dean Cain â" screens in the US in August.
MS is a chronic disease that affects nerve cells in the spinal cord and brain.
