The Black Eyed Peas frontman was criticised after spending only two 30-minute sessions with his singers before their first live performance.

But he wanted to prove his dedication to his acts â€" and told producers he would kip in his dressing room over the weekend so he could be there as much as possible.

An insider said: “Each of the coaches has a dressing room with a double bed at the studios in Elstree.”
