Kind-hearted Katie, aka glamour model Jordan, was on a celebrity version of the popular Channel 4 show — hosted by Noel Edmonds — to score some cash for Autism Independent UK and The Vision Charity.
She selected box 22 at random â€" uncannily it was the cube she wanted as it is the date of her birthday, which is tomorrow.
Katie played four rounds before excepting the banker's offer to take home £16,000 for her charities.
But had she stuck it out to the end, she could have become the programme's first A-list quarter of a million winner.
She eventually opened her box to reveal the £250,000.
She wrote on Twitter: "thank u everyone and thank you @dealornodeal for the monies for my 2charities i wish i went on but such a tough decision xx thanks noel x."
Katie, wearing a shirt and jeans, was joined on the show by her ex-boyfriend Dane Bowers and pal Michelle Heaton.
Her fiancé Leandro Penna was also there, and opened the box containing just a penny.
And blonde Katie, 33, didn't hesitate to give him the traditional 1p kiss.
Katie is currently in Las Vegas so couldn't watch the pre-recorded show when it aired last night.
