Hugh Laurie can’t get rid of his limp after playing Dr Gregory House

The Brit â€" star of hit US show House â€" revealed he has to focus on walking normally in real life after leaning heavily on a cane for the show.

The actor revealed it took him TWO YEARS to unpack his suitcases during filming in LA, as he never believed House would be such a success.

He said: “I signed up for 16 days for the pilot. The following eight years, nobody could have predicted.”

The final episode, Everybody Dies, will air on Thursday on Sky1 at 10pm.

  • SOAP bosses have confirmed the return of Hollyoaks’ late-night spin-off. Channel 4 have commissioned a fifth series of the saucy Hollyoaks Later.

Executive producer Emma Smithwick said: “I am so excited. Expect a lot of humour and heartbreak for some of the sixth form boys, a good dose of Brady-related darkness and a wild excursion for Mitzeee.”

There will be five hour-long episodes on E4, on consecutive nights for one week in the autumn.
