BGT Pudsey’s bricking it about security

BGT Pudsey’s bricking it about security

They 8ft boundary, complete with security lights and cameras, will surround the family home so no one can go walkies with the dancing pet.

Ashleigh, 17, and her parents are paranoid Pudsey could be abducted after 15 million viewers watched him win the ITV1 talent show last weekend.

So the wall is going up at their house in Wellingborough, Northants, next week.

A source said: “A pile of bricks and mortar is probably not what most people would spend some of their half a million quid on, but for Ashleigh it’s essential.

“Pudsey is Britain’s most recognisable dog and a real temptation for dognappers.

“So they’ve booked a firm to come round, rip down the old wooden fence and install a proper brick wall.” They may also need to splash out on travel insurance â€" as BGT supremo Simon Cowell wants to take the hound to Hollywood.

He joked in a tweet there was a “50/50 chance Pudsey may be a guest judge on X Factor”.

But the dog has already cocked a leg at an invite to this week’s American Idol final â€" as he’s too busy.

A source said: “He just can’t clear his busy schedule. However he will head to America soon. He’ll do shows and will have meetings over movie and endorsement opportunities.”
