The reality TV regular was at the shop, Bella Sorrella, with sister Georgia, their mum Debbie and screen pal Lucy Mecklenburgh when a teenager smashed the window from outside and ran off.
Shop worker Katie Corcoran told TV Biz: âIt was very frightening. The noise of shattering glass. Iâve never heard anything like it.â
She said of the attacker: âI donât know if he was showing off or he was doing it to spite Lydia. No one knows. I just saw him do it then he ran off and everyone went after him.â
The youth was chased by Georgia â" Katieâs cousin â" plus a snapper and two members of the film crew who grabbed him and hauled him back to the shop to wait for the police.

Katie said the lad had been practising parkour â" street gymnastics using benches and walls as launch pads â" outside the shop in Loughton High Street in Essex. He had then backflipped into the window and smashed it.
She added: âHe was a bit, âOh, Iâm sorryâ when he turned up to the shop. He couldnât run any more because there were so many people chasing him. I think he just gave up and thought, âIâm just going to go with it.â

The incident comes just months after her pal Lauren Goodgerâs boutique was firebombed the day after its public opening.
A window at the pink and white beauty salon in Buckhurst Hill was smashed and a blaze was started in the front display of the shop, called Laurenâs Way.
After yesterdayâs attack, Lydiaâs shop was closed while the damage was repaired. Last night the boutiqueâs official Twitter feed posted: âUnfortunately today @BellaSorella251 was vandalised. The suspect is in custody the issue is being resolved. Open tomorrow as usual x.â
Georgia tweeted: âThank-u to everyone who joined in the chase to catch the culprits.â
Debbie wrote online: âToday has been a prime example of for every action u take their is a consequence attached to it !! #unbelievable.â
A police spokesman said: âAn 18-year-old man was arrested for criminal damage and received a caution.â
