The reality TV star had been rocking a sexy crop style - but now she's a double for Orlando Bloom's elf-prince in the blockbuster movie trilogy.
The new look also harked back to her time in hit girl band Atomic Kitten.
Kerry, 31, revealed her hair extensions to fans, tweeting a pic and the message: "Feel like I'm back in the kittens lol xx."
And she added: "Omg my hair is soooo long!! Love a change xxx."
Kerry's transformation follows the news that Atomic Kitten are set to reform as part of a new documentary.
But strolling near her Surrey home, Kerry looked nothing like the youthful starlet who shot to fame with the group aged just 18.
Instead the mum-of-four, who had the extensions done during a trip to Dublin, looked washed out by her fair hair.
And a frumpy blue coat, striped T-shirt, beige trousers and white trainers did her no favours either.
Kerry admits the change isn't set to last much more than a month though.
In her magazine column this week, she revealed: “I’ve had some hair extensions put in by Shane O’Sullivan at Easilocks in Dublin.
“The kids are always like ‘Mummy, grow your hair!’ So they’re happy. I’ll keep it like this for a month or so.
“It’s weird having it long again.â€
