Becky Hill has joked that Will.i.am sabotaged Jessie J’s mic during last week’s live show of The Voice

Jessie was forced to stop singing with her group when she couldn’t hear anything as the ear pack failed.

Grinning Becky â€" singing Corinne Bailey Rae’s Like A Star tonight â€" said: “I think Will.i.am saw there was so much competition.

"All the blokes got together and said, ‘Switch off Jessie’s ear pack’.” She then added: “Of course it didn’t happen.”

Meanwhile, the 18-year-old has vowed she won’t turn the air blue this week.

Last time she was caught mouthing a swear word after forgetting her words and host Holly Willoughby was forced to apologise on her behalf.

Becky said: “The pressure got to me. I’ll try not to do it again.”
