The week-long try-outs, starting at the end of the month, will shift from their usual London base to Liverpool’s Echo Arena to avoid Games crowds.

A source said: “London, would have been a real nightmare with the Olympics on. We found some good acts in Liverpool so we’re heading up there this year.”
