Bo Bruce in mourning over tragic loss of her mother

Rosamond Winkley died peacefully at her home in Marlborough, Wilts, after fighting the disease for six months.

Bo, 26, wrote on Facebook: “Light a candle, thousands of us, light a candle.”

A message on behalf of the singer was later posted on her website thanking fans for their love.

It read: “Bo promises she will be back before too long. She is spending quiet time with her close friends and family.”

She cancelled an appearance at T In The Park last week to be with her mum.
