Gloria lived with Ivy Ward, 62, for new BBC1 show When I Get Older and was left in bits after Ivy was visited by her daughter and granddaughter.

Gloria said: “To have your child looking straight into your eyes, holding your hands saying ‘I love you Mam, I will do anything for you’, that’s really impacting. I have had to go through a lot of emotion in my own life.

“And when I... sorry I can’t say it â€" I think of my own daughter... that’s why I can’t do it.”
