Cherry Healey’s show nearly the pits for her hubby: She lets her under-arm hair grow out for BBC3 TV reality show How To Get A Life

Actress Julia showed her unshaven pits at the 1999 Notting Hill premiere.

Now Cherry is letting hers sprout for six weeks for BBC3 reality show How To Get A Life.

In it she tells how she has been removing her hair for 20 years after a guy commented on how hairy her arms were.

And while her husband Roly didn’t mind Cherry going unshaven, she told TV Biz: “If there wasn’t a time limit, it would be completely different.

“My husband has grown up with the image that a woman equals smooth in various places. He was very giving to my experimentation, luckily. But if I’d told him, ‘This is me for ever’, it might have been a different conversation.”

In the new series, Cherry probes various modern problems, from vanity to addiction.

It starts tonight (20th June) at 9pm.
