X Factor: Mel B joins Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos and Louis Walsh at auditions in Manchester

The former Scary Spice will join Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos and Louis Walsh at the Manchester auditions.

Mel’s a regular on the show’s Aussie version and went straight from the studios in Melbourne on Sunday night to the airport to fly to London en route to Manchester, not even changing out of her ballgown. She rewarded herself with a glass of red, tweeting: “Love it, now I get to sleep, yippeee.”

Mel’s moment comes after former Spice Girls bandmate Geri Halliwell BLEW her chance to be a full-time judge.

Show bosses said Geri â€" who was booed by the crowd â€" had no chemistry with the other judges.
