Goldie says Prince Harry is the hippest royal on The Royal History Of Pop

PRINCE HARRY is the hippest royal when it comes to music â€" according to his drum ’n’ bass pal Goldie.

Speaking in Channel 4’s The Royal History Of Pop, he said: “Harry knows how to party. I think out of the Royals he is probably the one who is most in touch with what you would call underground.”

But the dance star â€" who worked on the BBC2 series Goldie’s Band: By Royal Appointment with the third-in-line to the throne â€" says he wasn’t prepared to confirm rumours that Prince Harry was the mystery person in a gorilla suit who danced on stage at a Basement Jaxx gig in 2009.

Goldie, who was backstage at the concert, said: “I can’t speak for the man. Knowing his character, it’s something he would probably do.”

The show, screened on June 10, looks at the Royals’ relationship with music since 1952.
