Nick Holzherr: Fan sent me £50 pink pants... I could do with socks now

Nick Holzherr: Fan sent me £50 pink pants... I could do with socks now

Nick â€" who is dating fellow contestant Gabrielle Omar â€" said he had received two pairs of pink Calvin Klein undies worth £50 from a gay fan.

And Nick said he was so impressed with the gift that he has been wearing them â€" but only after washing them first.

Nick told The Sun: “I did get boxer shorts sent to me. I had a few. They were clean and pink. They’re actually quite nice and I have worn them.

“They were from a fan, a gay gentleman. He got the right size! He said something along the lines of ‘I’m a great fan, don’t take this the wrong way... ’

“It was very nice of him to send them. He did it on several occasions. In future I could do with some socks as well!”

Nick battles it out with Tom Gearing, Ricky Martin and Jade Nash in tonight’s BBC1 final, where one of the four will walk away with a £250,000 investment from Lord Sugar.

Lord Sugar Swiss-born Nick has become the show’s sex symbol after getting together with Gabrielle during filming.

But he became coy when talking about her.

He said: “We’re great friends, I’m not gonna confirm or deny if we were together, but we got on great on the show and we’re still great friends. Gabrielle’s happy for all of us.”

Fellow finalist Jade admitted she had also received more interest from men since being on the show â€" although from the older generation.

Nick Hewer The single 29-year-old said: “They tend to be really old men. I do attract an old man anyway.

“Not Lord Sugar, but you can flirt your way round Nick Hewer. He’s a ladies’ man!”

On reaching tonight’s final Tom said his girlfriend Emma Banham had helped boost his confidence.

But she also pointed out when he was going wrong. He said: “She has been ecstatic for me.” And Ricky, who married fiancée Gemma Lovejoy three weeks ago, made a name for himself on the show after revealing he was also a wrestler.

But he said he was now ditching the skin-tight Lycra outfits to focus on his business hopes.

He said: “I’ve stopped wrestling, I’m not going back, I’ve retired.”

Nick admitted that taking part in the high-profile show could have ended up damaging the reputations of the finalists if they hadn’t performed well.

He said: “The show’s a risk. You can ruin your chances if you come across bad.

“It’s a gamble, but all the finalists came across well. But if you go in the first few weeks you risk looking ridiculous.”
