The ex-TOWIE glamour girl called The X Factor contestant 'big time' after a not-so-pleasant meeting last night in Liverpool.
The pair had been at a party hosted by Desperate Scousewives' Amanda Harrington and sisters Gill and Debbie O'Toole and the 26-year-old former glamour model took offence when Marcus was reluctant to have a photo taken with her.
He did eventually accept, but according to her, acted 'rudely'.
She tweeted a photo of them and sarcastically wrote: "Drink down my dress. Marcus Collins who said he felt like he was working when I asked for a pic #Bigtime."
She then wrote: "Ooh Marcus asked why I called him big time (because he is) I said because you were rude so he called me fake and spat in my hair #ouch #big time."
The 23-year-old former hairdresser replied, taking the mickey out of her long face.
He wrote: "Does anyone know who this girl is? Whoever she is she is very, very rude and needs to calm down #whythelongface."
Maria jumped on the bandwagon: "Never forget your roots people. The people you kick on your way up will laugh at you on your way down xx."
Marcus got personal and likened her to looking like a horse: "I swear Aintree was a few weeks back?â€
But things stepped up a notch when he accused her of being homophobic.
He said: "Some people should be ashamed of themselves #homophobia will NOT BE TOLERATED @MariaFowler #Ignorant."
She quipped back: "Some people are bully's that's all I am saying. Never resort to insult. I may be "less talented" "less attractive" but I'm not rude or stuck up.
"Ain't even gonna say anymore apart from what a disgusting little man."
But of course, she did.
"Tweeting a pic takin p*** of someone looks wow. You need to go to school and learn no one survives in this industry if they're rude.
"Off to enjoy my night. Heard he been thrown out good. No one is bigger than anyone else. Regardless of talent etc. #BeGrounded x."
Marcus replied: "I left because your vileness knocked me sick #attheopeningofanenvelope and your a homophobic liar."
And the reality girl then threatened to take legal action. "Call me rascist I will sue you for defamation.
"Go to sleep. I think your a bit drunk. In the morning you will wake. Cringe And delete your tweets.
"If I wanted a headline I wouldn't use an xfactor reject. Think I get more headlines than your anyway #oops #sorry #block."
And she didn't stop there: "Throwing the gay line for record am with four gay guys here certainly not homophobic. No excuse #everyonesaw rude and you're people just apologised."
"Please don't say I'm using you for headlines. If you're not on the paper on a weekly/daily basis, #YourNotDrake #EvenZListMeGetsMorePressThanYou."
