James plays Will Savage in the teen drama, with Dancing On Ice star Jorgie as Theresa McQueen.

While their smooch was his favourite scene, his least enjoyable moment was locking lips with co-star Joe Tracini, describing him as the “hottest cast member” as he is “always sweating”.

James, who has played geeky Will for around 18 months, said: “Kissing Jorgie wasn’t bad... I guess! But kissing Joe Tracini was the worst.

“It wasn’t even scripted. Come on, man!”
